Hi guys,
I cant for the life of me get my comp to send anything to the phone's bootloader. It just gets stuck on command prompt. Its really frustrating. My drivers are good and everything is in order. Its a new RMA device that I'm trying to root and send the recovery over fastboot but all it does it gets stuck at "sending." Nothing for a long time.
I've been lurking for quite some time and haven't been able to find a solution for my issue. Here's what happened:
I cracked the screen on my Galaxy Nexus and got an insurance replacement. I then used ClockworkMod Recovery to copy over from my old device to my new device. All was good for about 12 hours when the new device started boot looping with the flashy color animation screen.
I'm not sure what my girlfriend exactly did to her nexus s i9020T. Can someone please help me fix it? I can access CWM Recovery v6.0.1.0. Yes I already tried to restore her backup image. During the restoring I got
.android_secure.img not found. Skipping restore of /sdcard/.android_secure.
Everything else seemed to restore just fine.
Since my phone got upgraded to ZVD by LG (with some Verizon add-ons like the power-on sound which is cool :)) and I wanted my data back from GSE, I went into CWM and did an advanced restore from the backup I did prior to returning the phone and it restored all my data, apps, wallpaper, etc back to how they were.
Hi guys,
I'm pretty new here and sorry if I have missed a similar thread before. I have problem with my new HOX. I flashed JellyBean into my phone (get the tips from here). It works and after few days, I started to dislike it. Then I decided to go back using Ice Cream Sandwich. When I tried to restore back from my backup using CWM, the phone just stuck at the HTC logo screen when I reboot.
So I am looking to root but I still a few questions.
So if I don't flash roms or anything to revert to stock could i just use the factory reset built in to phones settings app (Razr HD XT925) and would that make it back to a fresh phone with no signs of root?
Also if i am going to flash roms and kernels if take a nandroid backup then even if I switch roms or kernels I can restore using the b
Hopefully this is a good spot for this question ... So my new Nexus 7 was giving me problems where it was turning off overnight and giving me the big battery icon in the morning...
I had to backup all my apps so I could exchange the Nexus for a new one. (it was rooted, with CM10 and Franco)
I used App Backup and Restore and Titanium Backup Pro thinking it would make restoring easier.
I have an AT&T Galaxy S3. I rooted it a while ago and have been using CM10 on it.
I wanted to unlock the phone so to get it back to factory I mistakenly restored from a backup I had of the factory phone (I'm guessing this was wrong now).
The restore finished and I rebooted the phone but now it sits at the Samsung Galaxy SIII boot screen.
I use CyanogenMod and ClockWork Recovery on my Nexus 7.
