I'm having the same problem.Tracker-search in the terminal works and returns everything I searched for. I even managed to get it working in the GNOME dash, using the tracker-search extension. But no matter what I do, Nautilus doesn't return any searches.
Hi everyone,
Gnome 3.4 brought us the ability to see recent documents in the desktop search via gnome shell, but at some point in the last few months, Gnome Documents has become the default program for opening libreoffice documents and .pdfs from the shell as well.
I guess you're looking for this gnome shell extension;https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ … -my-focus/

Hi everyone.I have built an extension for gnome-shell to manage the radeons' power profile. It should work on every radeon using the open source drivers, and supports multiple card setups. You can find the source here:https://github.com/StuntsPT/shell-exten … le-managerThe extension here:https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ … e-manager/Or even an AUR package here:https://aur.archlinux.org/pa
I had tried that one, but that box was not checked. I tried checking it, restarting Gnome Shell, unchecking, restarting Gnome Shell again, but no joy. Re-picking the wallpaper image didn't do anything either.

I am running archlinux, gnome 3. Unlike ubuntu, archlinux' gnome does not create the bundle of default folders, like Documents, Pictures, Movies, Templates etc. This seems to be no problem, as any user should be able to create the folders, shouldn't he.
