I just got my nexus yesterday, I was too happy and play until power off itself. After that, I can't get it charged! The phone can boot while plugged to wall, and all functions work well. But when disconnected, it will shut down itself. I downloaded battery monitor widget and found that charging current is less than 10mA, sometimes even drops to be negative.
Can anyone help?
Hi guys, I'm just wondering if I can use my Nexus 7's charger of 5V rating at 2A to speed up the charging time on my Nexus 4? Would doing this cause any problem for my Nexus 4's battery?
Thanks
I have a Nexus 7 factory-included charger and I was wondering if I could safely charge my Nexus 4 with it. Reading from the specs printed on the chargers, the N7 charger outputs 2.0A at 5.0V, while the N4 charger outputs 1.2A at 5.0V. If it's safe, would it affect the N4's battery longevity in the long term? Considering it would be charged with a higher current.
OK I've had my nexus a year ago last Xmas. Been a pretty damn good phone. But yesterday it stopped charging. I would plug it in and.... nothing. Tried several chargers to no avail. I left it on the charger over night and it charged it 40% in 9 he's.
Hello everyone,
I was wondering how far the nexus 4 can be pushed concerning charging...
I noticed normal charger on AC mode goes 1.2A, if you use USB socket of your pc it only charges 0.5A.
What is the maximum of A that the Nexus 4's battery can go? In other words if I took a 2.1A charger How much of that would it actually use?
Thanks :D
I've had an issue with my nexus 7 for the last few days. I found it dead when I had it off and charged. Then it wouldn't charge. Eventually I saw on here someone recommended blowing in the use port to see if that helps, it did. Now though, if the tablet is off and I plug it in, it boots.
So I bought my Nexus on Craigslist about a month ago. Everything went smooth, but i noticed the phone would frequently think it was charging when not plugged in or not charging when plugged in. This was because the previous owner did not use the charger that came with it and presumably bent the Micro USB connection. Nothing my trusty razor couldn't fix, just bent that dude back int place.
Hi,
I bought my GSM galaxy nexus about 2 months back. I unlocked bootloader, rooted and installed stock JB, with franco.kernel. It worked fine for maybe a month. Then, charging the battery started maxing out at lower than 100%. Now, it does not ever charge beyond 82-83%. (in battery settings, it shows "82% - Not Charging" even with the stock chrger plugged in.
Recently my Nexus S's charging port stopped charging all together, this was a small issue so I went and bought an external battery charger. But today, the power button stopped working, both batteries I have are fully charged. How can I turn my phone back on?
