I have a server (Linux Centos 6) where Plesk was installed and running correctly (except for the mail server which wasn't working for some reason).
Wanting to replace the default mail server (postfix) for sendmail, I ran the following command:
yum remove postfix
For some reason, it also removed all the dependencies:
git perl-Git plesk-core plesk-l10n plesk-mail-pc-driver pp-sitebuilder psa ps
We have just finished our VPS System Setup, and everything works fantastic except that our WHMCS Panel cannot communicate with SolusVM.
I've just upgraded a website from Plesk-9 (Ubuntu 8) to Plesk-11 (CentOS 6.3).
The Plesk-11 server was created with a specific subdomain "sub.example.com", this also became the default webspace.
I'm using windows 2008 + plesk server. I have created a ftp user at plesk-domians-web hosting settings . But when i tried to login the user can not login,getting error 530 . When i look in IIS-7 there is not ftp sites. If it is required for ftp user ? Somebody told me that i have to ad virtual directories and authorization.
I tried Plesk Panel but it didn't work for me
it had no support for Joomla
so i de-installed Plesk and switched to cPanel and i'm satisfied.
But (there's always a but...)

the domains that i tried to set up with Plesk
can't be opened now with cPanel
(i copy the webfiles correctly).
It shows some Plesk page although Plesk is uninstalled.

I was updating PHP and when attempting to install 5.3.9, I got conflicts with 5.1 so I (rather stupidly) ran yum remove php php-* and I think that this removed the plesk plugin and I am able to access all the sites hosted, but not the actual plesk panel. The PSA folder is there in /usr/local/. When I tried reinstalling, and it returned You have Plesk v 10.10.1 installed.
Any ideas?
I am running plesk panel software for windows v11.0.9 on a windows 2008r2.

i have a problem when creating a mailbox with plesk on icewarp merak mail server latest version, when i enable the password policy,i need that because when i enable enable just dictionary on plesk it doesn't effect that merak mail web interface, users could login to their mailboxes and i couldn't define the credentials that passwords should be.
I am new to plesk, and I just install plesk on my window 2008 server, after upload my website and upload file.exe there, it can not be download.
when i access to: http://mydomain.com/files/myfile.exe
the error msg below appear on browser: You do not have permission to view this directory or page.
can some help show me how to fix it.
