GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists. However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged.. /usr/sbin/grub-bios-setup: error: will not proceed with blocklists.then I tried# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg ...sees my windows partition... #grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck --forc (HowTos)

Hello I'm trying to copy my grub drive to another. What I have tried Clonezilla, it copied everything, but doesn't boot.

I am trying to follow this answer but keep getting stuck with the following errors:

Hi - I've just installed Ubuntu 12.04 as a dual boot system with OSX. I thought it was all going well - i could choose either syste from the boot menu and boot into them. Until I removed the install USB stick - when it just says "Loading Operating System.....
