Talkatone sms work but outgoing calls never go through & incoming calls connect but no sound
I have become a big user of Google Voice and have several phone numbers via multiple email accounts. On my iPhone I have tried several apps and found Talkatone to be among the others but there were some close competitors. Now that I have an Android tablet I have tried Talkatone. It is nice but the UI doesn't seem as nice as the iOS version.
1) I haven't really had a chance to try audio processing. I am going to test it out but I am wondering if anyone can testify whether it works or not. Supposedly it is intended to enhance calling quality in cases where it is bad?
Google has announced that, on March 14 of this year, they are shutting off external access to XMPP for their Google Voice services. As a consequence, any program like Talkatone or GrooVe IP will stop working on that date.
I have been using Talkatone for it, but recently, I was wondering about the the native option.
I do have the TMO S3, with the wifi option enabled in my rom. I have my Google Talk and Voice both set up correctly. But when I use the phone icon to make a call, my minutes decrease. I thought by using wifi, like I do with Talkatone, I wouldn't use my contract minutes.
