Hello Crunchbang Users, I have been using Crunchbang for some time now and was starting to get worried that the project had disappeared. I was happy to see the post on Distrowatch and just installed the newest Crunchbang a couple hours ago. So far so good, except some weird character swaps on my keyboard. Where is the hash mark and why is my double quot
Hello all.I recently registered at this forum and am hoping to interact with some cool CrunchBang folks. I look forward to posting here!I have been using Linux a bit over a year now (since 12/2011). My main distro is Arch Linux, where I use DWM (Dynamic Window Manager). Aesthetically, I am a minimalist, so I enjoy making things as simple as possible (but no simpler). Crunch
Hello, new Crunchbang user here. My only experience with linux was messing with livecds a long long time ago.Since Dota 2 is being ported to linux soon, I almost see no reason to stick with windows for much longer, perhaps I will dual boot. I fell in love with crunchbang for its minimalist approach, and after installing it, almost everything works, I
I"ve got crunchbang installed on my Asus 1005HAB, and I'm really enjoying it. I have one thing I miss, and would like to set back up though. On my old ubuntu installation, with compiz there was a plugin called tile which allowed manual tiling. By that, I mean w
Hi all. OS: Crunchbang Waldorf (image crunchbang-11-20121015-amd64.iso, Wheezy, 64 bits). Hardware: Dell Inspiron 1525, 2 Gb RAM. Result: perrrfect. Quick, without anything to report. So successful that was almost boring. Network, video, wacom tablet support, everything went super smooth. Additional install scripts (dropbox, google chrome, etc.) worked their magic flawlessly. And runs fast.
Hello all, I've been a lurker on here for sometime. I have been playing with Crunchbang Statler Alpha 2 for quite a while now and I must say it's a nice change from Ubuntu! It even prints to my Lexmark printer via my network through my iMac which is something Ubuntu won't do! I am impressed! I love the simplicity of this distribution and I love the chan
Hello everyone,My name is Dan and I am a new user of Crunchbang Linux. I decided to try it on my HP 2133 Mini Note netbook. I was looking for a nice fast and lightweight distro for this little laptop. I am pleased to say I am quite happy with the relatively simple and painless installation. Having used several other distros I am pleased to see the learning curve is not too
