got strucked at screen..no progress while flashing crash rom

First off if you're on ANY recovery that isn't CWM 5.0.2.7 you DO NOT NEED TDJS SUPER WIPE OR CACHE WIPE SCRIPTS!!!! Seriously stop flashing these people you're filling up threads with problems caused by both of these scripts and bad flashing methods. Here's how to PROPERLY flash a ROM.. If on CWM 6.0.x.x 1. Wipe factory data/reset 2. Wipe cache 3. Go into mounts and storage 4. Format /system 5.

Just to make sure I don't royally screw myself, when i'm flashing various roms, kernels, radios etc. what is necessary to wipe?

So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.

With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery.

Here is what i did. Latest CWM recovery v5.8.4.7 after flashing CM9, i wipe cache partition & Dalvik Cache then i flash "TGST-CM9-ICS_ALPHA19.zip" - the Trinity kernel when my phone reboot i discover the IMEI is gone.

Any suggestion?

since i used a cleaning script (2.6.5) before installing the kernel, i have file manager crashes on both roms (before i did just wipe cache and dalvik manually and never a problem).

Hi there, as stated ICS RR V10 is installed with notecore v14 std kernel, the system crashed after trying to connect to the bluetooth headset: the screen switched to full brightness and because nothing was responding i pulled the battery.

Hi I was wondering what is the best Kernel for the T-Mobile version of the SG2 when it comes to battery like and performance. Right now I am running CM10 4.1.2 and its stock kernel that comes with the ROM. I am fairly new to this whole process so if I flash a new kernel do I have to wipe everything or just the cache? Please help me. Thank you :)
