Google announced some major content partners for its Google TV platform and revealed some more information on the Android-and Intel Atom-based IPTV platform. New Google TV content partners include Turner Broadcasting, NBC Universal, HBO, Twitter, and Amazon.com, says the company.

Unlike Android, Google Chrome OS is open source. Whereas Android is coded behind closed doors one big-name developer says it's no more open than Apple's iOS Google's imminent browser-based operating system is built in large part where everyone can see it.
With the popularity of Android on smartphones and tablets, Google has a big platform to help push their other products and services. One of those is the Chrome browser for Android.
