Google has announced a change to Google Apps for Business — ending the free version of the product, offering only its Premium version which costs $50 per user per year, regardless of the size of the company. The change was announced on Google’s Official Enterprise blog.
Today, over five million businesses are now using Google Apps to help their employees collaborate and connect via the cloud. In just a few years, the adoption of Google’s productivity suite has skyrocketed and, while small businesses have long been its core customer, adoption up the chain is increasing as well.
Since the major acquisition last year, Google has made it clear that it wants QuickOffice to make accessing and editing various Microsoft Office documents for the average consumer— but what about the various businesses out there?
Optus today announced it would partner with Google in its move to the software as a service market, revealing it would include Google Apps for Business in its portfolio of digital business solutions for small and medium businesses.
So I'm from Serbia, and for reasons best known to Google, they won't let anyone from my country buy apps on Google Play. This was easy to circumvent by using proxy servers or VPN, but now (in the last week or so), Google Play won't let me buy apps any more. When I use a VPN (whether on my desktop or my Android devices), Google Play is now showing me only free apps.
Google have announced today they have stopped providing the free 10 user version of Google Apps for business.
This is used by a lot of charities.
US charities get the full version for free.
It would be good if Google extended this offer to other countries.

Hi
Google talk not working when using data but works fine on wifi
People say going to settings>syncing/accounts and unticking data background and reticking it will fix this, but the samsung s3 does not have these options.
I did find that removing my data restriction completely fixed this problem immediately.
