Hi people, I was just wandering if it was a stupid idea to use my nexus 7 while I charge it? I'm not sure if this would have a bad affect on the battery life once it is fully charged. I leave my galaxy S2 on charge over night and this has seriously messed up its battery life so I have learned not to leave anything on charge over night but an answer to my initial question would be great!
OK I've had my nexus a year ago last Xmas. Been a pretty damn good phone. But yesterday it stopped charging. I would plug it in and.... nothing. Tried several chargers to no avail. I left it on the charger over night and it charged it 40% in 9 he's.
I know we have a lot of battery life threads and I absolutely love this phone but mine is not getting good battery life. I'm an advanced android user, I know it well and I do know that some devices just have bugs which kill battery life.
I put my Nexus 4 on charge over night, as usual. I woke up with 100% battery, obviously, drained the battery down to 75% and thought I'd put it back on charge to keep it topped up. As soon as I put it on it said it was fully charged, even though it couldn't have been.
I've had the Nexus 4 for a week now and I've faced quite a few problems already:
1) My phone doesn't connect to the wifi network (even though the wifi info is saved) until I turn off wifi from the setting and turn it back on. I called up google support and they said that's how the manufacturer designed the phone so you will have to do this every time you move in to a new wifi zone.
Just got my Google Play order today, everything is fine, box, packaging, etc.
But I ran my fingers down the left side of the Nexus 7 and left a bump.
I tilt the Nexus 7 to get a better look and there's a dent :(
No bezel "glue/sticky noise" issue, just a dent :(
Guess I'll call Google tomorrow, we'll see how "if you buy from Play Store, you get support from Google and not Asus
Hey all, my wife's Nexus 7 is doing something odd, she didn't use it for a few days do left it on charge. Took it off and after 2 hours the battery dropped to 0% and stayed that way until she noticed it 5 hours later. The status bar icon registers when its on charge but the battery app says 0% Unknown.
Im guilty. Ive had posts on here about poor battery life. My phone isnt even a year old and the battery life just had become horrible. To the point it was 2 recharges per day.
I blamed the OS and updates because it just didnt seem like the battery should be gone. I was getting 9-10 hours on average.
I have a chance to get a "T-Mobile" nexus 4 for cheap tomorrow. Isn't it the same as the google play store version? I use straight talk and want to make sure it will work.
Secondly, I currently have a galaxy Nexus with seidio extended battery. How will the nexus 4 compare battery wise? And how about overall performance, is it that much better than my galaxy nexus? Thanks in advance.
