I had a song in Google Play Music. There were other songs by the same artists, and along with those I downloaded new album art for all of them. Ever single song, (including the old one) i replaced the album art on.
I'm fairly new with the S3, Google Play and Android in general. I purchased an album via the Play store and am using Google Play Music to play it. I have downloaded it to my device using the 'Keep on Device' option but am not able to find the files in the phone in the sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music folder.
I saw this post Google Play Store now tells you when albums are in All Access | Android Central and thought nothing of it because I had always seen a link to the album in All Access whenever I did a sound search.
However now I must run Sound Search and when I click the result it takes me to Google Play Music but there is no longer a way to get to the album directly from there.
So I absolutely love google Music as it saves me so much storage space and I have an unlimited data plan so never a care in the world. My issue is this though. Lately I'm getting a bunch of albums that seem to be uploaded as half and it's hard to play a whole album at a time. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'll post screenshots to try to help explain.
Audiophiles annoyed by the lack of gapless playback support in the Google Play Music app will be glad to know Google has added that feature in their latest update released today. Gapless playback creates a seamless transition between songs when listening to an album as opposed to a few seconds of silence.
I was looking through my music collection while hidden files were shown, and I noticed that almost every directory/album has a folder in it named mediaartlocal, which contains a jpg file with an album cover thumbnail, having a name such as:
I was very satisfied with banshee when I was running 12.04 but after updating to 14.04 most of my music won't play. When I click on the album or song a small "X" icon appears to the left of the track number and skips the song. Please help, I miss my music.
