I like to upload my music to my Google account and I use Google Music Manager to do this.
When I downloaded the music manager the first time, I wanted to actually download all the music I purchased from Google onto my Ubuntu 12.04 Dell Latitude E6400 32-bit. It worked fine and all the music downloaded.
Now I have ripped some of my old cds and want to upload that content to Google.
Google has taken the wraps off its & Music Beta by Google& streaming music service, the search engine's bid to challenge Apple's iTunes and Amazon.com music services. Users will be able to upload their personal music collections to Google's servers, which will stream it to computers, Android tablets, and smartphones, the company says....
Some users may wonder whether they should stick with music streaming services and ditch downloading songs to their local drives, or simply rely on the streaming options, because let’s face it, music streaming services are plentiful these days.
so i read last night that i could upload my music from itunes to google music so that i could listen to all my music on my phone. i downloaded the music manager, and it only uploaded 17 songs, all of which were from the queen cd i imported. none of the other music in my cloud uploaded. any ideas why this may be happening?
Google has put out the new cloud music beta service, and currently it is only available in Unite States.
Just did the ICS update and noticed my music widget said no music found, tap to go to music app. Which resulted in finding music and playing yesterday. Today same thing except this time it never finds any music. tried a different widget with same results. I know the music is there how do I get the phone to recognize it? Thanks!
Hi.
I'm using Ubuntu Server 11.04 on a media server solution at home. This media server streams my music wireless at home through various proctols; DAAP, DLNA etc.
But... I would love to stream my music with the Google Music framework as well - since I have an Android 4.0 based phone wich have Google Music Player pre-installed. But this seems to be a mess on system that is only CLI based.
Tomahawk is a music player that fundamentally changes the way music is consumed and shared. It decouples the name of the song from the source it was shared from - and fulfills the request using all of your available sources. This creates a universal translation layer across music repositories, streaming services and geographic territories.
Does anyone else have a problem with getting their N4 to see music that you have added manually to the device? In google music or amazonplayer that i use both say i have no music on the device when i have. Oddly, i can play it via the file manager but only as a clip rather than through the player applications themselves with all their functionality.
