When my Vox got Play access in a recent update it got the Play Music App, I was surprised by this as the store says its incompatible with all my devices (assuming this is because I am not in the US)
I was clearing out some music from it today and it is giving me warnings that my music in it has been uploaded to google play and only the local copy will be removed.

I like the idea of Google Play Music, especially the part that lets it upload any new music I add to my computer library. I know I can make the music available on my N7 for offline play. I don't like the Google Play Music player. I tried to adjust the volume, but I guess the only way to do that is to use the volume control on the tablet itself.
Google has taken the wraps off its & Music Beta by Google& streaming music service, the search engine's bid to challenge Apple's iTunes and Amazon.com music services. Users will be able to upload their personal music collections to Google's servers, which will stream it to computers, Android tablets, and smartphones, the company says....
Hi everyone. I had a RAZR MAXX before and recently just left my Samsung S2. I really liked that both of those devices used a standalone music player that didn't stream music, and stored it all on the internal device or the SD card, and played straight from there. This new RAZR MAXX HD doesn't utilize that anymore, and uses Google's Play Music, which sucks.

Does anyone else have a problem with getting their N4 to see music that you have added manually to the device? In google music or amazonplayer that i use both say i have no music on the device when i have. Oddly, i can play it via the file manager but only as a clip rather than through the player applications themselves with all their functionality.
When I first got my phone, I just used the software from Mototrola to sync my music on to my phone (I use Google Play for music). I've now found out how you can just download it straight from the Google Play website and on to your phone.
I think!
Hey everyone. I use mp3gain from the terminal to normalise the volume of my music collection. I use this:
Code:
cd ~/Music
find . -iname '*.mp3' -execdir mp3gain -r -k "{}" \; &
This works fine when playing the music on the desktop using things like Banshee and Rhythmbox, but doesn't seem to work when I upload it to Google Music.
Hi,
I'm fairly new with the S3, Google Play and Android in general. I purchased an album via the Play store and am using Google Play Music to play it. I have downloaded it to my device using the 'Keep on Device' option but am not able to find the files in the phone in the sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music folder.
