Just tried using Google plus and the hangout feature over 3g but I keep getting server error. Anyone know how to fix this

Google announced a new purpose for Google+ Hangouts today – fantasy football! Nikhyl Singhal, Google+ Product Director, made the announcement on the Google Official Blog. It appears Google has managed to strike a deal with the NFL as a primary feature is the inclusion of one-click access to Google+ Hangouts from any NFL.com/fantasyfootball web page.
When Google made the move earlier this year to start consolidating all of their communication platforms to the Hangouts app, one feature that went missing was the ability to include phone calls as part of a Hangout. In response to user demand, Google announced today that they have brought that feature back to the desktop versions of Gmail, Google+ and the Chrome extension.
I bought Nexus 5 around 2 months back from USA. I am currently in India using Vodafone network (3 G).
I am facing this real weird issue . I can login to google plus and Hangout chat when on wi fi mode. But when I switch to mobile data mode , Google plus cannot be connected as a result hangout chat also stops .
Today, the Google+ team shared some insight into a few tweaks that it’s made to the Hangouts experience over the last couple of months, as well as some new initiatives.
In a post on Google+, Chee Chew of Google discussed these improvements, which include the ability to block people, set a Hangout to 18+, and change a Hangout to public while it’s in progress.
I hope this isn't a rehash of arguments or posts from yesteryear, but I didn't see much on the search. A little back story on my mobile usage scenario:
-Verizon iPhone (work)
-Sprint Galaxy S3 (personal phone)
-Google Voice sprint integration enabled on personal phone
-Google Hangouts installed on both devices

Google and Toyota have teamed up to introduce a new way to buy a car, and of course it involves Google+ and Google Hangouts.
