While everyone is highly anticipating the release of Google’s next 2 Nexus devices, the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, many questions has risen within the community on how Google will handle it when it’s available this Tuesday on November 13th. There were some questions whether there will be pre-orders or if Google will even ship these devices on the 13th when ordered.
On the purchases page of Google play, it shows I have purchased a GSM Galaxy Nexus.
The shipping estimate is Oct 2, is that the shipping out date or the arrival date? I ordered it saturday. I'm used to Amazon prime, so 2 day really means 2 day. Very excited and impatient waiting for the phone to arrive.
Anyone know what google means? I haven't got any shipping info yet.
It’s safe to say that Google’s new Nexus 7 has been in high demand since its announcement at this years Google IO event. With so many pre-orders, I’m sure it has been quite a challenge for Google to ship these units out on a timely fashion.
Google’s Nexus 4 has certainly proven itself to be golden for Google and Android fans. The mania is not confined to the device itself. Those lucky enough to have one of the devices despite the severe shortage may be looking for some lightweight protection for the smartphone. Google is ready with a solution in the form of some black bumpers to wrap the Nexus 4.
It was only a couple days ago that Google’s Nexus Q was finally listed as “in stock” from the Google Play store and in a blink of an eye she’s gone again.
Same as many I order Nexus 4 on Nov. 27 and pending for 10 days.
On Dec. 5, Google allow order for 16GB but 5~6 weeks delivery. I re-order it and just wait for mail from Google. Next days after 19 hours I receive shipping mail and tracking # of UPS.
One Dec. 7, 1:30PM in Bell Gardens, Nexus 4 come to office. It only take less 72 hours to get Nexus 4 16GB. I already cancel the order of Nov.
...due to an increased delay in shipping. Nice one, Google

The team behind Googles first independently engineered and manufactured hardware is delaying the public product launch to add new functionality to the device. But there is a silver lining for those whove already committed to a life with Nexus Q.
Google has rolling out an update to the Play Store since late last night, and even though it doesn’t have any drastic changes, the UI and recommendations have been polished up, which is a nice touch. The most notable difference is the post-install screen after installing an app; it’s a clean looking screen with a button to quickly enable automatic updates.
Those of you that own a Nexus 10 will be happy to know that official flip covers are finally available in the Google Play Store. You have your choice of Scarlet or Dark Grey, and they will run you $29.99 plus tax and shipping.
