Hi! i have a problem with Google Play store on my HTC sense. I recently had to do a factory restart, because nothing was working anymore, and when the restart had finished i noticed that 'Google Play' was replaced with 'Market' so i watched a youtube video on how to get google play back.
Lately ive been very pleased with some app purchases and free apps ive recieved from the amazon appstore which ive downloaded on my nexus 7. I was quite disappointed that many AAA titles found on the appstore and google play (the big EA and Gameloft games) were no where to be found on the amazon appstore. I headed over to the webpage and was pleased to find thats they were in fact there.
I have a rooted galaxy s3 i747. Originally with AT&T but unlocked and switched to T-mobile.
Two months ago google play store/any google app stopped working. I couldn't sign into anything. Factory reset it, Still didn't sign in. I recently tried to fix it buy going into etc/hosts and adding the "#" in front of the I.P address.

Google is planning to open an app store for its Chrome browser to make it easier both for users to discover Web applications and for developers to reach a large potential audience. Chrome users who find apps in the Chrome Web Store will be able to create shortcuts in Chrome for easy access, Google said.
As expected, one of the Google products to get some attention at Google I/O is the Google TV platform. Google continues to increase consistency across product lines and Google TV is no exception. The UI has been updated to provide access to the Google Play store that is similar to that found on other Android devices. Consumers can purchase movies, music, and TV shows through the store.
