While I may not post much on Google+ I do use the app on a daily basis. It keeps me checked in to the various Android happenings (like TalkAndroid) out there as well as my close friends who only use that network. However the kicker is, while the app is useful it just feels there and not really too polished. But all that has changed as the new Google+ experience has hit Android.

Google has a lot of apps for lots of different platforms, so it may not be surprising that updates take more than one week a month. Even though several apps were updated last week, Google has continued this week with the release of an updated Google+ app for Android devices.

Hulu Plus is the latest Android app to change its look to be more consistent with Google’s design standards. Google just introduced some nice enhancements to their mobile homepage. It now has the look of the Google+ and YouTube Android apps with an expandable menu to the left. This menu includes links to other Google services like Google+, Images, News, Gmail, etc. You can open this menu by tapping the new button at the top left corner.
