If you paid $249 for a 16GB Nexus 7 on or after October 14th, you can receive a refund of the difference between the new ($199) and old ($249) prices.
Hello All,
I read that Google will be offering a new Nexus (though I don't remember when it was expected).
Is this true? If so, will the current Nexus drop below $350?
I am looking for my first Android phone, and leaning hard towards the Google Nexus, largely because of the price point combined with current updates always coming from Google.
Thanks for any advice.
With Google’s The Playground is Open event only days away, we have already seen the Google Play Store “de-list” the 8GB version of the Google Nexus 7 tablet. A 32GB Nexus 7 device is in the works along with a 3G-enabled variant, which apparently has prompted some retailers in the UK to guess these devices will be announced next Monday.
Early in October the nexus was rumored to be $399 for the 8gb model releasing on October 29. But now it's been changed, obviously the 16gb model is the same price as the galaxy nexus 16gb was on google play. Now I hear this whole complaint about other companies not wanting to sell the phone due to the. Price. What does everybody think of this??? It's scaring me a little.
Well folks, it looks like we’re getting closer and closer to seeing Google’s Nexus tablet a reality. We were among the first to tell you that Google planned on introducing its tablet at Google I/O next week, but now we have some additional details adding to this excitement.
Hi boyz and girlz!!
I would like to buy a tablet and I saw a lot of products of every kind, also cheapest China ones, but now I can't decide which one I should buy between the following two:
- Asus Nexus 7 32 GB 3G
- Asus Trasformer Prime 300T 16 GB WiFi
Both Asus 'cause here in Italy Google gives Asus the right to sell it; both at the same price, 300; but different specifications, as

Staples Canada looks like theyre first to price drop the Google Nexus 7 tablet. This coming Saturday (September 22nd) will see them offer up a 10% reduction of the 16GB version, currently priced at $259, but with the price cut itll fall to $233.10

One of the most buzzworthy items on display at Google I/O was the ASUS produced Nexus 7 tablet. Available in both 8GB and 16GB versions, Google indicated their target was a $200 price point. Google did meet that target, but at what cost?
Reviewers have identified a couple limitations involving the amount of storage available, especially for the 8GB model.
My screen lift has gotten worse and now creaks sometimes when I type. I've also randomly experienced an unresponsive screen that requires putting tablet to sleep and back on again to fix. Do you go through Asus or Google for a return? I originally bought it from Sam's Club and its well past the 30 day return for them.
