One thing about the Android app market: there is NO good design software, particularly for layout design. Something else that Apple ios has us beat.
I've been looking all over for a program that I can use for layout projects, big ones. I can't bring my iPad everywhere and isn't as practical in many situations, so would love one that I could use on my S5.
The goal of my design process is to design a device that can more be used more intuitively in 3d environments and can empower users to perform better. As such, I have been studying other 3d interactive mice and trying to understand the good and bad about each of them.
I have just got my first radio :D, I have googled for homebrew SWR but havnt found anything that makes much sense, has anyone actually built a good one? I am after a design I can incorporate into a multi purpose meter.
I found this one
but not too sure how good it would be.
Most developers are famously not great designers, but some of the best products come from teams where developers know a bit about design and the designers know a bit about what the developers do. Hack Design wants to get developers up to speed with the basics of design by sending to developers a fresh and easy-to-follow lesson about design.
I am fairly new to android programming. I am designing a new Android App for commercial purpose. So, focus on good and stable UI/UX design is mandatory. I know that we can design UI using the eclipse Android SDK. But is it sufficient and viable to do the whole front end designing ? My App is a type of web service.
I have been doing Professional Graphic Design and Web Design for about 13 years.
The last 2 years have been maininly using Linux/FOSS.
I am in the process of creating a website to promote Graphic Design and Web Design on Linux/FOSS, my goal is to help both new and expericend designers learn to use Linux/FOSS and help them avoid a lot of pitfalls and frustrations.
