Was wondering if u guys can help me pick the best 290x, not the ROG model as in that case it makes more sense to get the 780ti. Just looking for one with good cooling maybe something like the HIS iPower IceQ or SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X, ASUS R9290X-DC2OC-4GD5 $626 or saphire. but for sure not the Asus ROG even though its prob the best cooled but most expensive.
I'm looking to build a mini itx system inside the Hadron Air, which only has a 500w psu, but it's gold rated, so I just need to know if it would be smart to pair the 290x with a 4670k (or 3570k), 8 gb ram, 1 ssd, and 1 hdd in this system and overclock the cpu and gpu. Or should I just get a plain case with a 650w psu
Ok, so I finally have some free time to put in my new cards that have been sitting on my office shelf for the last three weeks to replace my Titans.
I have a Dell 4K (32 inch) monitor that these cards will be tied too for the next year or two until something better comes along. The 295 only has Mini-DP on them, while my 290x has a full DP Port on it.
