http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hey guys my s3 killed its self yesterday so I grabbed one of these beauties today and I'm really impressed so far(maybe its the custom ROM). Now I got the phone off a guy, had it he unlocked the bootloader,rooted,and gave me the phone already running 4.1(dirty 1.8).no back ups to even a rooted stock. Although I love jelly bean this battery is killing me and I would really like to have at least a stock zip I can flash in emergencies. I am so unfamiliar with HTC(nexus one was the last one I owned)thank I really don't want to brick it. OK so my questions are these I have the rogers version of t (HowTos)

Hey guys. I've finally rooted my phone and got flash happy. I stayed with CM10 overall, but want to got back to stock. Trouble is I have the stock image I downloaded from I believe samsungs official site? It is for verizon it says on the zip anyways.

I think/hope this might be an easy question.

I have an xperia S that has bootloader unlocked and currently running a custom rom. In the next few weeks I may be swapping the phone with a family member. How would I go about getting the phone back on stock Sony firmware.

Im not such a fan of custom roms or custom kernels. I always stay on Stock roms, I dont really like to mess around with my phone other then rooting it and i also like to replace system apps from other phones I previously had, so I usually make nandroid backups if something goes wrong I just go back to a previous working backup.

So my quetion is guys...

[Q] battery problems 30 weeks 4 days ago

Ive rooted my phone, update to the "official" jelly bean, still running stock no custom roms or anything. Stock camera and gallery too. My battery is draining like crazy. I took it off the charger at 100% around 8:30 this morning. I went back to sleep and woke up around 11:15 am or so and it was at about 68%. It's now 11:56 and at 48%.

Just looking for some advice really, I'm looking to root/flash my girlfriends's mini pro (SK17i), it's currently running GB (4.0.2.A.0.62) which as I understand cannot be rooted from that particular version? The phone was bought 2nd hand and the bootloader is already unlocked.

NT16 Revert to stock issues 24 weeks 3 days ago

hey guys, i have a 1.43 nt16 rooted and running cm10 from internal. i forgot to run a backup prior to installing. i cannot find a 1.43 rooted, or stock rom anywhere. i found a 1.40, and a 1.42, however after these flash, it gets to the setup, but the touch screen is non responsive. therefore i cannot go any further. any advice?

With all this OTA talk, I've been getting many questions about accepting and OTA while stock rooted.

IF you are stock rooted, you can't get an OTA update because you most likely have a custom recovery installed (Clockworkmod). To accept this OTA, you will need to install the STOCK recovery.
