http://blogs.gnome.org – GNOME Asia meeting. The GNOME Asia team is planning GNOME Asia 2010. While the exact event hasn’t been announced, I can tell you it will most likely be in Taiwan and they are already looking for potential speakers. I attended several GNOME A11y & HFOSS meetings. We are working with several universities this summer that will have students working on GNOME a11y projects. The GNOME a11y team is coming up with potential projects and mentors for the students to pick from (Software)

The GNOME.Asia Committee is inviting proposals to host the GNOME.Asia Summit during the 2nd quarter of 2013. The GNOME.Asia Summit is the featured annual GNOME Conference in Asia. The event focuses primarily on the GNOME desktop, and also covers applications and the development platform tools.

The GNOME.Asia Committee is inviting proposals to host the GNOME.Asia Summit during the 2nd quarter of 2013. The GNOME.Asia Summit is the featured annual GNOME Conference in Asia. The event focuses primarily on the GNOME desktop, and also covers applications and the development platform tools.

Project:Possiblity just hosted the first ever SS12: Code for a Cause. SS12 is a programming competition where teams of students compete to code open source software for persons with disabilities over the course of a weekend.  Teams of students working with GNOME’s Caribou took first place at UCLA and second place at USC!

GNOME.Asia Summit is Asia’s primier GNOME user and developer conference, spreading the knowledge of GNOME across Asia. This year’s conference will be held in Hong Kong on June 9 and 10. The conference follows the release of GNOME 3.4, helping to bring new desktop paradigms that facilitate user interaction in the computing world.

GNOME.Asia 2013 is calling for papers. GNOME.Asia Summit is Asia’s GNOME user and developer conference, spreading the knowledge of GNOME across Asia. The conference will be held in NIPA Business Center, Sangam-dong Seoul, Korea on May 24 -25, 2013.

The GNOME Foundation is pleased to announce that Seoul has been selected as the venue for the upcoming GNOME.Asia Summit 2013. The Asia Summit organizing team was very impressed with the Korean local organizers' proposal. The GNOME community in Seoul is committed to GNOME's success and to promoting the use of GNOME and GNU/Linux in Korea and the rest of Asia.
