The GNOME Foundation invites proposals to host GUADEC, the annual GNOME
conference, during the Summer of 2012.
The GNOME Foundation invites proposals to host GUADEC 2013. GUADEC is the biggest gathering of GNOME users and developers and includes a three-day conference, the annual general meeting of the members of the GNOME Foundation, and a week of coding, meeting, and discussion.
Hello Foundation Members.
During the last week of June we announced the call for GUADEC 2013
proposals [1]. We have received feedback from the community that more
time is needed.
Dear Foundation Members,
In the past, by this time, the Board would have already sent around the GUADEC call for hosts. In largely closed door meetings it would have been decided where next year's GUADEC would be held, announcing it at the current year's conference.
The KDE and GNOME communities are looking for a host for the Desktop
Summit 2011, the prime free desktop software event in 2011. The Desktop
Summit is the joining of the annual conferences of KDE and GNOME,
following up on the success of the Gran Canaria Desktop Summit.
