After upgrading to 12.04 Gnome Classic amd64,every time I log on a new additional blank panel appears on the top and bottom panels - which I delete every time. In addition, the default panel applets are duplicated in the original panels.
Also the panels in the second screen are empty (in addition to the wallpaper being hidden).
I'm not a fan of unity and gnome 3 couldn't satisfy me so i installed gnome 2 on my Ubuntu 12.04 installed compiz and every thing is working good ... but when i try to right click panels nothing happens ... i realized this problem when i was trying to put my hijri calender ... the only right clickable are the icons already added and the panels ...
After upgrading to 12.4 from 10.4 on an AMD64 the situation is as follows:
After booting I see the Xubuntu logo splash screen and when I log in I get an error that there is a system crash somewhere (it suggest to click on the notification icon, but no info appears then).
Well after a multiple attempts i finnaly installed the opensuse 11.3 (gnome editon ) on my toshiba laptop, but surprisinglly all i see are 2 icons documents and recycle bin no panels or taskbar , can some plz explain this :)
Today I was moving the panels around (just to see what configuration I like and such) when i found out that putting the bottom panel (set to autohide) on the top of the screen with the other panel causes Fedora to spaz out and freeze. It happened when I tried to open one of the menus of the top panel - completely frozen.
