Today, the GNOME Project celebrates the release of GNOME 2.28, the
latest version of the popular, multi-platform free desktop environment
and of its developer platform.
The GNOME Project is proud to present GNOME 3.6, the third update to the 3.x series. This latest version of GNOME 3 includes a number of new features and enhancements, as well as many bug fixes and minor improvements.
GNOME 3.6 Released

Today, the GNOME Project celebrates the release of GNOME 3.6, the
latest version of the popular free desktop, as well as the GNOME
developer platform.
GNOME 3.6 is the third major update of GNOME 3. It builds on the
foundations that we have laid with the previous 3.x releases and
offers a greatly enhanced experience.
GNOME 3.2 Released

Today, the GNOME Project celebrates the release of GNOME 3.2, the
latest version of the popular, multi-platform free desktop environment
and of its developer platform.
Hello world!
This is the first update to GNOME 2.30. It contains the usual mixture
of bug fixes, translations updates and documentation improvements that
are the hallmark of stable GNOME releases, thanks to our wonderful
team of GNOME contributors!
The next stable version of GNOME will be GNOME 2.30.2, which is due on
June 23.
The GNOME Project is proud to announce the imminent release of GNOME 3.8 in less than two weeks. As with every release, there are many new features and technical improvements. We asked William Jon McCann, a GNOME designer, about the direction of the project and what he is anticipating for GNOME in the future.
