I noticed that by default this phone is setup to use "Global" as the preferred network mode. I'm thinking that means it'll try to use CDMA, LTE, and GSM networks.
Hey guys I am running on the 4.2.2 Liquidsmooth 2.1 rom and it seems I can't send MMS. I have my network Mode to LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA.
Why cant I send pictures please help! Thank You!
p.s.
It's been a while since I posted anything here. . .
While I'm a bit late to the rooting bandwagon with the GNex, I am glad to finally be able to root my beloved phone.
I'm currently in the process of backing up all the data that is in my GNex's virtual SD card, and saving it on my computer, because I plan on unlocking the phone and rooting it tonight.
Prior to the jellybean update, everything was working just fine. Once the jellybean update was pushed and installed to my phone, it would no longer receive 4g signals.
My girlfriend is having an issue where she has a text message thread of over 6000 text messages, but she just tried deleting the thread and it froze her messaging app and proceeded to crash it. Whenever she tries to do that the same thing happens. She's completely stock and she tried installing Handcent and GoSMS to delete but still no go. She's tried clearing data and cache also but no luck.
Phone is rooted but stock ROM. I can't get incoming text messages or emails to be read via TTS no matter what I try. I remember it worked a long time ago. I'm using Widget Locker for lock Screen with slider and Nova Launcher and GoSMS Pro for SMS. Checked settings under Accessibility and Google Text-to-speech engine is selected and Driving Mode slider is ON.
Been having trouble with my HTC Incredible S recently. Texts rarely send, and I rarely receive texts, unless I turn off all data, and constantly reboot my phone and/or send texts to myself to kick starts texts into sending and receiving. I'd buy a new phone, but am waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back into stock.
First - I'm not noob, but not a developer either. I'm about to sell my Rezound which has only seen about two months real use. I am now on AT&T with a One X (yes I love HTC). Anyway, I recently flashed one of the GSM roms in hopes that I'd be able to use the Rezound as one of my AT&T phones. I then found out that you only get AT&T's Edge - no 3G, 4G, LTE, etc.
So out of the blue my s3 decided that it will not send ANY texts longer than 160 characters. I've rebooted the phone several times, cleared data for the messaging app, deleted text history, none of that has worked. Before now, I could send texts of any length with no issue. Is there anything I can do? I have the stock OS (not rooted) and am using the stock messaging app.
