The new version of Adobe Flash Player for Android phone has been rolled out. Here is the new Adobe Flash Player 10.2 for Android phone. The Adobe Flash Player is the must have application for all Android phone user.

Adobe's Flash download page is displaying a message:

NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version to target Linux as a supported platform. Adobe will continue to provide security backports to Flash Player 11.2 for Linux.

What is the plans for Flash support in the future?

With a bit of luck HTML5 media support will drop website developer's dependency on Flash.

I was checking the Adobe web site to see if I had the latest version. As I was looking at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

I see the message that

Flash Player 11.2 is the last supported Flash Player version for Linux. Adobe will continue to provide security updates.

There are versions 11.4 for Mac and windows.

Is Adobe trying to force us to go back to windows?
