Openswan: Denial of Service
Hi Comm.,
can anybody tell me why there is still no OpenSwan Packkage under 11.2 avaiable? Under 11.1 all was fine but now there is only strongswan and no more openswan. Also the fact i was not able to find any information about this issue is confusing. I hope anybody can give me a real answer about this.
With Kind Regards Andreas Rehmer

Hi,
Since I upgraded to opensuse 11.2 (kernel 2.6.31) I have not been able to connect anymore to our VPN using openswan/xl2tpd.
Searching the net for that, I saw that other distros with kernel 2.6.31 (eg. Ubuntu 9.10, fedora 12) also have had similar problems.
I tried to use openswan 2.6.24rc3 (I compiled OK), but it still does not work.
I am using openswan to create p2p vpn between to nodeswithout any problem/
Is there a way to establish a site=to-site VPN via openswan packet at Ubuntu 12.04?
This setup will allow you to login to your own Ubuntu VPN server using your Iphone's default IOS VPN settings.

Using the following setup:
192.168.1.22 Ubuntu Server IP Address

Hi folks,
I have problems to connect to a VPN that requires openswan/xl2tp certificates and key files to authenticate. It used to work with openswan 2.6.23, xl2tpd-1.2.3 and opensuse 11.1, but since I upgraded to 11.2, the connection cannot establish. I have been told by the vpn-master that users of Ubuntu 9.10 with kernel 2.6.31 also have the same problem...
I'm trying to perform a VPN lan to lan IPSEC connection. By my side, I have a server with 2 IP's, i.j.k.l (destined to act as a VPN gateway) and i.j.k.m (the server). I am a newbie. I don't know if this configuration is normal, but it's forced by our partner.
My configuration is:
OS: Fedora release 7 (Moonshine)
