I am running Apache Tomcat as a Windows Service under Windows 7.
It is configured to run as connector using mod_jk.
Hence I cannot use the "standard" Tomcat installer, since it ignore the mod_jk settings.
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Box with IIS 7.5 and Apache Tomcat 5.5. JSP traffic is routed from IIS to Tomcat via the AJP Connector version 1.3. This connector uses an isapi filter in IIS to identify the traffic to route to Tomcat.
I want to setup HTTPS for just the Tomcat portion, but it doesn't seem that simple, given the configuration above.
I had a tomcat vulnerability scan in my linux server and report came as Important: Authentication bypass and information disclosure (CVE-2011-3190) .My apache tomcat is of version 6.0.24.
tomcat security say that it need to be upgarded and patch .Can someone help me with this patching process.
Hi, I'm trying to get Apache version 2 Server running with Tomcat 7 as the Java Servlet container (I'll be using Solr as the webapp next). Followed the instructions in the wiki articles Tomcat and Apache and Tomcat. The applications work fine separately. It's only when I modify the httpd.conf files as instructed that I get this error when I restart httpd and tomcat.
