-D_FORTIFY_SOUCRE has moved from CFLAGS to CPPFLAGS so you need to deal with that.   I will be rebuilding it in the next day or two anyway.

That probably was installed with your cross compiler too.  Get rid of it.

That is the test-suite failing - on a not very important bit that is often expected to fail.Anyway...  I though glibc required -O2 to build, but perhaps -O1 is enough:http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/FAQ#Wh … _GNU_CC.3FEdit: you think the bug is in glibc?
