Motorola is expanding their range of Android devices into the home desktop arena. They are teaming up with WASU, a cable and telecommunications company in China. The desktop is being called the HMC3260 Cloud Broadband, probably because it will be a cloud-based entertainment device.

Unlike Apple’s iPhone, which has over 90% of its users on the latest iOS 4.2.1, Google’s latest Android OS “Gingerbread” 2.3 has less than 1% the total Android smartphone userbase enjoying its sweetened treats.
New data on the state of the Android ecosystem has been posted to Google’s Android Developers site. The big reveal? Gingerbread, the version of the Android mobile operating system released back in December 2010, is still leading with 57.5% of Android OS share. Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is at 20.9%, and Android 2.2 (Froyo) has 14%. Yes, Froyo – released in May 2010.
A huge gingerbread man has been put up on the Google campus in Mountain View, Calif., suggesting that Gingerbread, the next release of Android, may be released soon. Past dessert-themed displays have heralded the release of previous versions of Android such as Froyo. There's still a bit of confusion swirling around Gingerbread.
