http://androidforums.com – hi fairly new to the whole rooting scene. I had a successful root and flash by putting honeycomb on my nook color, and bricked a LG Thrill very bad. Had to return it. I know have a galaxy s2 from att. It has gingerbread 2.3.6 on it and I want to root it. I have searched up and down to find a good how to and if it is possible to root 2.3.6 without losing any features. I heard alot of people that rooted on 2.3.6 lost wifi. I dont want to downgrade then root if at all possible. So if someone can point me in the right direction of a safe way to root 2.3.6 that would be great. If this was posted so (General)
