So what's the consensus? I was really considering picking up a Nexus 7 until I read about the screen separation issues. I used to have an ASUS Transformer and really liked ASUS's build quality. Is the Nexus 7 really that bad? I don't like the idea of buying a $250 tablet and then having to open it up and modify it just to make it work properly.
My N7 is C9 but still has minor, I believe, "screen separation" issue. Other than this, it works fine. I can live with this separation but I have only one concern, the dust.
So, I did a lot of research on the cause of the separation and found that the glass and LCD are somehow fused together.
Those of you who had an infinity with screen separation or clicking, did the screen start off flush when you first got it? Or was it raised when it came right out of the box?, I double checked my again, I noticed in landscape mode on the far right side of the screen is slightly raised just a little bit more than the left side. It flexes a little bit.
So I have been out of the Android community but now I am back. I recently traded in my Xbox 360 at GameStop to purchase the Nexus 7. I am experiencing the screen separation problem that I have noticed quite a few people have have had. My question is should I go to a GameStop store and try and get it exchanged or would I be better off contacting Google directly?

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 on an Advent 8111 laptop. The only problem I have is with the audio device which is an 'Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)'. The nature of the problem is that there seems to be an issue with the L & R stereo separation, almost as if there is some kind of signal cross-bleed between the two channels.
