Getting no phone service

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Just picked up another GS2. Replaced the usb port, rooted, and upgraded to the same FW I am running on this phone. If I shut off the phone, charge (or just turn off) , and turn back on later, I get no phone service. Restarting the phone gives me back the service. I also unlocked the phone using the Galaxy S Unlock app. During the process the app froze. Force closing the app and restarting (then dialing the code) shows me it did unlock. I just realized I never ensured busybox was installed with the ROM (my phone used a busybox app). Could this be why I have this issue? Would reversing th (HowTos)

Hey sorry I'm new to this whole rooted phone business and for starters would just like to unlock my phone. I have a galaxy s2 sgh-t989d version 2.3.5, kernal 2.6.35.11, gingerbread. TLKJ3. I rooted my phone with recovery-cmw-hercules on odin3 v1.85 and installed CWM-SuperSU-v0.87. So as far as I know my phone is rooted but no apps seem to be able to get my a unlock code.

Haven't end posted in to rooted section before so a bit of a newbie. I'm looking at getting my s3 unlocked but without rooting the phone. I'm not looking to pay for the unlock unless I really have to.

Hey Everyone, I have a huge problem. My phone will not go past the Boost start up logo and just keeps restarting itself. This is the 2nd phone doing it. The first phone I had for 3 weeks before it started, I've only had the replacement phone for 1 week.

First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your phone by checking the service menu. In your phone, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu. In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step.

Ok so for some reason my phone went weird after flashing my phone. I had flashed it before and wanted to try out another custom rom.

I have tried flashing the stock RUU back onto the phone but its having none of it. Kept restarting itself and would not stay on if it wasn't plugged into my charger.

So I wiped the whole phone and it has nothing on it.

I have had several phones and rooted and everything several times before . But this is the first tiime with a unlocked phone . The phone is at&t I had it unlocked for Bell service . If I unlock bootloader and root will I lose my gsm unlock? Thx in advance

Hello I am using a Bell i9000m and wanting to use a Rogers SIM in the phone, i have been searching xda here and any of the unlocker apps or generators , scripts , etc do not work.

Is it hard to unlock this phone, does it depend on the ROM and Kernal, should you be using stock ROM to unlock or get the unlock code ?
