http://stackoverflow.com – I'm trying to access software on a networked computer, but I keep getting a "cannot execute binary file" error message on the java file in the networked computer address. I'm a very very new Linux user, can someone help me? I'm running through bash. So after trying to execute the program I get this: fileaddress1/_launch.sh: line 27: fileaddress2/java/jdk1.7.0_21/jdk1.7.0_21-x64/jre/bin/java: cannot execute binary file Both fileaddress's are in the same directory. In my .bash_profile I've got: export JAVA_HOME=fileaddress2/java/jdk1.7.0_21/jdk1.7.0_21-x64 And in my .bashrc I've got: P (HowTos)
