Ok, so i just signed up for google.com/voice#inbox and that was easy. when you click on 'call' it has 'Phone to call with' and under that it has 'google talk' or 'mobile'
i tried calling jetblue 800-538-2583 when they're open with both options and neither worked -- this also happened the first time i tried it last year
i thought it would just work... like skype..
I recently bought a small tablet - a Samsung Galaxy Player. I've been using google voice to text all my friends for free. However, I would like to start being able to call my friends as well, and have them be able to call me.
I see on the Play Store that there is an app called GrooVe IP that allows me to do such a thing, but I would prefer not to buy 5$ for this app.
Please, let's not do the apple vs android thing. I'm just looking to see if anyone uses skype to call mobile to mobile video chat with the quality as good as or better than FaceTime. I'm thinking about trading my iphone 5 for a note 2 and video calling is something I actually use a lot. Any other video calling apps welcome as well. Thanks.
The long-anticipated Google Hangouts application was announced this afternoon at Google I/O 2013 and is now available in the Google Play Store for download.
The app allows for one-to-one chat, group chat, picture/video sharing, emojis, as well as video calling.
