Get Indie RPG 'The Real Texas' at Half Price

Kitty Lambda Game Studio has released The Real Texas, a new action RPG for Linux.

The game is a role playing action adventure that plays like a mashup of Zelda: Link to the Past and Ultima VI. You play as Sam, an ordinary Texas rancher on holiday in England who accidentally falls into a blue portal and lands in The Strange Texas.

RuneSoft, a company that specializes in porting games to Linux platform, has released Cultures: Northland real time strategy game on Desura.

This is the third title they have made available for digital download. Previously, they have released 'Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood' and 'Airline Tycoon Deluxe' on both Desura and Ubuntu Software Center.

Indie real time strategy and shooter game McDROID has been released for Linux.

In the game, you control the McDROID, a farming/combat modular robot and defend your shuttle against mutants while farming strawberries at the same time.

McDROID is based on Unity game engine and it supports 4 player co-op.

Rotion is a challenging puzzle game where the aim is to clear shapes by getting to the middle and popping them. 

The game features a full campaign, splitscreen play and survival mode. Check out the video:

Livalink is a new first person shooter game by indie game studio Ben4Views.

In the game, you play as a Reinforced Intergalactic Livalink Trooper (RILT) and fight against increasingly difficult waves of Progeny attackers.

The Real Texas is a top-down adventure game by Calvin French inspired by the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Ultima VI. Slated for a near-term release, it features FPS-style controls and an environment to explore inspired by the Lone Star state.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is an open-world action title currently being developed by Big Robot.

The game is being made using Unity3D engine and Linux support has been announced with its alpha teaser trailer.

Wadget Eye Games is looking to bring some of their games to Linux. The game studio is well known for creating incredibly popular point-and-click adventure games 'Gemini Rue' and 'Resonance'.

These Linux ports will be most likely based on open-source Adventure Game Studio game engine.
