Get Em’ While You Can: Motorola Xoom 3G 32GB for $199 or AT&T Galaxy S III for $499

  Google’s other “Nexus” tablet is all set to get yet another lease on life. Participants of the Motorola Feedback Network just got the heads up of an imminent update that is going to be pushed to the still-popular Xoom Wifi tablet sometime today:

The Nexus 4 16 GB version is available on Daily Steals today for $499, but it sure doesn’t feel like a “steal.” It’s literally $150 more than what you can buy it for in the Play Store. One problem though, you can’t actually get one, and who knows when it will be available again.

  It’s no secret that Verizon has major intentions to bring its FIOS service to Android devices. We first had a glimpse of this notion when Verizon announced its FIOS app for smartphones and tablets. Then we saw the always Verizon-friendly brand Motorola try to sneak out an Android TV tablet for TV rooms.

Last week we got word of a new Motorola device with the model number XT912A. We have heard that the Motorola “X” phone refers to more than one phone, so this could be just one variant. It showed up in the GLBenchmark database with the codename “Ghost”, and it will be a mid-range device with a 720p display and a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro.

Well, it looks as though Google’s full line of Nexus and AOSP devices are poised to receive the update to Android 4.1.2, as Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi owners should now be seeing the OTA update live on their tablets. The software bump comes just hours after Google released the new firmware for GSM Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S handsets.

I saw the news in Facebook this morning,with title "32GB Motorola XOOM WiFi + Verizon 3G Just $199" and "32GB Nexus 7 for $229 on eBay" and "32GB Tablet 10.1 inch screen Android 4.0 just $159 on Tinydeal " Wow,big surprise!

Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now priced at $99 with a 2-year contract, which means it will probably get discontinued soon. The biggest sin is the full retail price still remains the same at $649.  It’s still a great phone and you can’t beat the price for those that want to get the stock Android experience. Will you be getting the Galaxy Nexus now that it’s only $99?

It’s Motorola’s turn to have some pictures of an upcoming device leaked onto the internet. Today it’s the Droid RAZR HD, which is expected on Verizon sometime in the near future.
