Hi!
i own a samsung galaxy nexus verizon phone and i unlocked and rooted the phone. My question is how do i get a signal? Is it possible to buy a verizon lte sim off ebay and pop one in, and expect a signal? I was hoping to use this phone as a 3g with pageplus, but I'm not sure how to go about this. Im not a verizon customer, i didn't realize these 4g phones are this complicated!!
The second I saw this story on the XDA thread, I envisioned many Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III users giving Verizon the proverbial middle finger. This locked bootloader issue with Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III has certainly made a full circle.

Had your eye on Samsung’s new 5.5-inch Galaxy Note, but been hesitant to embrace the unlocked model’s $799 price point? Well, eBay’s Daily Deals is having a sale on the newfangled phablet, offering the unlocked 16GB international model for $579.99 off-contract, in your choice of grey or white.
In yet another twist involving Verizon’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S III, contrary to our earlier report, Verizon will not provide a software update to unlock the encrypted bootloader.
We previously mentioned that you should expect the official launch of Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III to be on July 10th. Verizon has now made that official with their press release. Pricing is at $199.99 for the 16GB version, and $249.99 for the 32GB model.
I guys, is my actual first post. And I just would really like to sell this phone because I don't want anything to happen to it because it isn't in use. Samsung Galaxy Note LTE SGH i717 16GB Ceramic White Unlocked Smartphone 8806071793818 | eBay this phone has been babied other than the small crack in the lower bottom corner, that was like heart breaking to my son when he first got this phone.
It is common sense that the longer a phone sits on the market, the more the value is depreciated. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a great example of this. Upon release, I remember the phone selling for well over $250 on a two-year contract, and over $600 to purchase the device without any agreement. Luckily the folks over at Verizon Wireless have made a deal to good to refuse.
