This kind of goes hand in hand with my other thread regarding using clears service on my Galaxy S2.
The phone was formally on a Spring plan, which I dropped due to cost. I was wondering if its possible to use the phone with a prepaid text/calling plan from some place like Virgin Mobile (Which uses the Sprint network) and still maintain a 4G signal from Clear?
I have seen the $30 dollar month to month plan advertised on the walmart.com webiste.
Its $30.00 and you get
100 mins
unlimited text
unlimited web (5gb at 4g speeds, then throttled down)
Plan sounds amazing (i don't really use the phone to talk), Has anyone successfully activated this plan on the nexus 4?
I'm currently on my parents plan and have unlimited data and don't plan on losing it. I use about 10 gb a month, so taking the hit or switching to tmo and getting throttled is not an option.
So if ur on Sprint, how is their service and would you recommend a switch of u were me?
I thought this was good to post...
While I'm having no Data (see my posts if you'd like) with the Virgin/Sprint outage from April 11th here in Mesa/Phoenix, AZ I thought this was interesting to tell that I'm getting dropped calls ONLY when I call sprint/Boost mobile/Virgin mobile stores and the famous Virgin Mobile customer service phone number...
So I've decided on getting the Samsung Galaxy S3, but with the phone choice out of the way I'm stuck with choosing a carrier and I'm not sure what's best.
I've had Verizon for a while now, and while their service is great, they no longer offer an unlimited data plan. Since I plan on streaming video (Netflix, Youtube) for about 4 hours or so per night, I know I'll need an unlimited data plan.
Hi there. I am new to this site and to Android in general. I'm hoping someone can help me as I am not technologically savvy whatsoever. I just received the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Sprint) and I just activated it. However, I am on the home screen and it will not sign in to Gmail, nor is it able to find my location when I tried to add that.
Thought I would try and give back a little to the boards with a short rant about sprint, maybe someone will find a useful bit of info from my crazy month of wtf.
So I got an Evo LTE, and im a OG evo guy since the release day so I expected a great deal from the brand. Im a 10+year guy with sprint, 2 lines, equipment protection plan, yada yada...
Hi everyone, I am new here to this thread. I need help. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 from MetroPCS, love the phone, it has 4G LTE. But I am liking and want to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. MetroPCS does not sell the Note 2, being it too expensive. I have unlimited everything for $55 month plus $5 a month for the insurance, so everything is included, no taxes, nothing extra.
I'm not sure if anyone will know this. I have a samsung galaxy SII that is still on contract with Sprint. I want to sale the phone but can't because my ex won't cancel the contract. If I root the phone would I then be able to switch it into someone elses number? If not, does anyone know how I can (Sprint will not help me at all)
