Today was turkey day, and sure enough a turkey came calling today. I received a text today from Metro stating I'm in the top 5% of data users this month and that I should use wifi to help avoid reduced speeds. Even though I'm paying top dollar for the unlimited plan, they are still looking to throttle me. This just might be the last straw.
Hey guys, I'm giving a ton of consideration to trying out T mobiles 30 dollar unlimited data and the text with 100 talk minutes per month plan,
I'm thinking of trying this out before a use right now I'm on my parents plan. I pay 40 a month for unlimited talk and text and only about a data pool of 3GB that I personally get to use.
Is At&t still throttling data for grandfathered unlimited users? I used to get a warning text when I got near 5gb. But for the past two months I have been streaming through the Google Music App and haven't gotten one text message or email. I am currently up to 13gb data usage, my next billing cycle is 5/27, so I may hit 20gb for the month.
My current T mobile plan is: Unlimited Minutes, Unlimited Text, and Unlimited Data (2GB of 4g, then throttled) for $79.99/month, plus a discount, so I pay $78 every month.
Now I never looked at Verizon plans because I have always heard they were so much more expensive.. so tonight I decide to look into it.. and I don't know If I am looking at them wrong or what..
But I see a plan..
Not sure if this should be in general, as it is a question. xD
But a month after purchasing my galaxy s 3 and signing a 2 year contract for the unlimited plan, t-mobile decides to make the 30 dollar 5G data unlimited text 100 minute plan to UNLIMITED data. And for me to switch it would cost approx 600 dollars -.-
Has anyone else seen this?
You remember how we told you T-Mobile has secret plans of an unlimited 4G data plan in the works? Well T-Mobile couldn’t contain itself any more and spilled the beans on its truly Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data Plan.
I have a Samsung galaxy s 3 no contract from T-Mobile, but now want a plan with them. I see that they have the 30 dollar a month 5gb unlimited data unlimited text and 100min of talk. Only problem is that its for " New tmobile.com orders or Walmart orders" only. Is there a way to still get the plan?

I was on a no contract grandfathered 700 min, 5GB data, Unlimited text family plan with my wife. Was $109 mo. I wanted their truly unlimited data and was told I couldn't get it with my plan. I complained and was sent to customer retention. While I had to agree to a contract I now have 1000 minutes, Unlimited Data, Unlimited text on both phones for $75 month.
Didn't know where else to put this so mods please move if need to. Only found older threads, just looking for more current usage.
This is just a general question to all heavy data users regardless of carrier. I'm just curious because when I called to check on my plan the customer service rep was flippin out and said I'm in the TOP 1 percent of data users.
