http://androidforums.com – so i own a tmobile htc one s but i am in simple mobile but since the phone is locked i cant use the mms and internet in simple mobile's. the only way i can get that is if i unlock it? is there a way i canunlock it for free ? or is there anyone that can get my unlcok code? (General)

I am new here just moved from the world of IOS. So I purchased a T-Mobile S4 full retail price. I was hoping to unlock it but they want me to wait 40 days before they give me the unlock code.

I havent been able to find any source for an unlock code.

I got a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 from ebay awhile back. It was like all new and didn't come with a sim card so I was stuck on the "Please insert sim card" text for awhile. Then, like an eight year old little fool with no knowledge of phones, I got a microsim card from Simple Mobile. All was good in the world until I got past the select language screen.

I got a sim unlock code from AT&T today.

I took out at&t sim card and put in a t-mobile sim into lumia 900. It prompted me for PIN(unlock code). I keyed in unlock code for 10 times and the screen start to ask me for PUK. I entered the unlock code for couple more times and it still refused to unlock.

Then, I kept on trying until I hit 32 time.

Please excuse the noob question, I have been trying to search for a specific answer but, with no luck and/or probably skill. I have an MB865 I bought 2nd hand. It works fine with ST sim. I am going back and forth on getting a sim unlock code to be free of the AT&T lock. What hassles might I run into if I unlock it? Will I loose any stock apps or other info?

I have gone through all similar topics for X8 but couldn't find the solution for me. I have a SIM-locked Sony Xperia X8 and was able to unlock the bootloader with msm7227_semc. After that however, the phone still won't work in other networks.
