Hello, I've got a problem and I'd be very happy for any advice.
I am on rom JellyBean AOSP. I was using my Transformer and sound stopped working. So I decided to turn it off and on again and when I tried to turn it on and I wasn't able to start tablet anymore. I'm stuck on the first screen you see when you turn on the tablet. So I wanted to do factory reset in the recovery.
Having had a new £1050 front door fitted I did not want to drill the frame to reconnect the rather nice tubular chimes so bought a wireless chime and am attempting to use the TX and the RX portion to close the chime circuit.
The chime runs on 6V from 4 type C cells. The RX was mains stepped down and rectified.
This is as far as I have got. See attachment.
Vcc is 3.5v.
Formerly my Galaxy S2 would chime only when I received an inbound e-mail. As of yesterday it now chimes about every 10-20 min. regardless. I've even chosen "Silent" as the notification tone, and it still keeps doing it. And I've gone into the Messaging app, hit settings, scrolled all the way down to Select Ringtone and chosen "Silent" there as well.
I was using my 2-3 month old HTC One GPE this morning, and put it in my pocket.. An hour later I pulled it out and the screen was off, and I couldn't get it to turn on. When I got home I plugged it in, but the charging light won't turn on, and I can't get the phone to turn on.
So far I've tried holding the power button for about 60 seconds... Any other suggestions?
I got the HTC Wildfire 18 months ago and it has worked normally until now. I turned it on once and since it has chimed at every hour. If I put it on Vibrate it will vibrate until I dismiss it and if it is on slient it doesn't work but I miss calls/ texts.
I didn't change any settings and I have since removed all apps other than the games I have on my phone.
Sometime back the screen of my Wildfire S got broken and I had it replaced by my local phone shop. However, since then the touch screen has been nowhere near as sensitive as it should be e.g. when someone calls I quite often cant turn the phone on in time to accept the call. When a call is finished sometimes I find it difficult to turn the call off.
