http://androidforums.com – My phone touch screen is working its own. Example i put it on table its moving screen and open applications its own. What should i do? And if try to type text message its adds letters randomly or open setup like someone touches screen randomly places. (General)

Ever since I updated my phone it randomly goes black. I can tell that it's still on because when I touch the screen it still makes noises like it's working. The only way to see my screen again is by doing a battery pull. Any suggestions?

For no reason at all, the touch screen on my Epic randomly stopped working. I had a lock on my phone and I couldn't drag it up and the only way to unlock my phone was to slide the keyboard out. However, even when it's unlocked, I can't click on any icons, can't move to any of the other screens, nothing.

Hey guys

I've had a Samsung Galaxy Gio for 4 or 5 months now, and today a very tragic accident happened which resulted in my phone falling two flights of stairs and smashing on the ground.

Now the actual phone is ok, has a minor bump on the top right corner of the phone and the screen has no scratches at all. But the touch screen isn't working.

Hi all,

The touch screen on my HTC Sensation has suddenly stopped working. The locking ring works, so I can answer the phone if someone calls. I can view a new text message by pulling the notification bar down, and touching the message. But I can't scroll through messages and the icons are untouchable.

Any ideas? I feel like I've lost my right arm!

I have a problem with my Acer V5 touch, my touch screen is not working properly, when I touch it, it only recognice de click,, but do not recognice when I stopet touching it.

Is like if the touch screen "think" that my finger is still in contact with in.

Any solution?

(I also want gestures for my clickpad on gnome shell)

OK i just installed jelly beans beta 1 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1789713 this site. Now everything is working bt there is a problem in screen. When i lock the screen nd try to open it after certain time it didnt open...i.e black screen... bt i feel the touch i mean in that black screen when i touch it vibrate i.e the program is running at background....

I have an HP tm2t wit Fedora 17 64 bit. The screen is a touchscreen that has worked with Linux for all the times, except lately.

I can not tell the cause of the problem or what was the last thing[s] I did before it stopped working. The touch screen stopped working before the update to the latest version.

Hello,

Well, i'm in a bad situation. I rooted my phone and flashed maverick onto it, and everything was cool for a while. Eventually my screen started acting funny, it would pixel out, not rotate, it would shut off if slid open slightly, after a while of this the touch interface would not work, my power, volume buttons, and keyboard would all work but the screen would not.
