My daughters iPhone show when the text message is being read and when the person is writing back. Is there an app that does that on the android phone captivate glide?
my samsung captivate glide will constantly turn off an back on literally every five second. ive reset the phone, deleted every single app on the phone, ive cleared all the memory an it still cuts off and then back on every five seconds. im not on a plan anymore so what do i do?
I had been using my Razr Maxx since last October but recently switched to an iPhone for a couple of months. I have now switched back to my Razr Maxx and have run into problems with text messaging. First of all, I wasn't getting text messages from iPhone users. I think I might have fixed that problem but one of my friends who uses an iPhone tried to send me a group text message.
So this guy Ive never met in person sent me a picture of himself through texting. When he sent me the pic I got a text before that saying "A Picture/Video Message!" I've only got that message when someone with an android sent me a photo but in his pic he's holding an iphone.
Hy! I am working on Android app for tourists where I must show list of all rooms in my city for accomodation. So I have cca. 500 lines of text, about 5 lines for each room (adress, phone number, contact person, email adress and stars rating), I want to put all that text in one activity so u can scroll and read that text. Should I use TextView or something else?
I just got an incredible S, and it won't let me open the first text message. so if another person texts me, I can open the second person, and if I reply to them, it then bumps the first person to second spot, and I can open it then. Doesn't make sense. Is this common with this phone, or should I go back to the store I bought it from?
I noticed today that on on friend when I first open the text message app that above the time of text there is a white circle w a small x in it. Any ideas what it means? Only does it on this one person. Marked as favorite.. stock text app that comes w phone..

So back in what I believe was Android 4.1, I had to swipe my lock screen to unlock my phone. Before swiping, it gives me the option of swiping into my missed calls, my text messages, and my applications. It did not show who I missed a call from, nor did it show the contents of my text message.
Now it shows both. How can I stop my phone from displaying private messages and communication?
