Hello,
I recently purchased a galaxy s3 lte with the extended 3000mah battery. I have found the battery drain to be unusually high. it is draining at around 3% an hour. I am on the sentinel ROM. I changed to the normal slim battery and it also seemed to be draining at a similar rate.

I had a major battery drain so I followed the advice given on another thread and did a factory reset as they said the OTA update may have been the issue. Now my battery drain is fixed but am I now stuck with having android 4.1.1 or can I try updating it again to 4.1.2. A lot of features I liked are no longer available in this version.
Hi, I have a few questions regarding various wakelocks that I hope somebody will be able to advise on. Whether they are normal or not Im not sure.
I'm in the UK, my phone is a standard GS3, ie not routed or anything.
Recently, I switched from Oat's Light n' Tasty to CM9 nightlies (currently on 20121202) which I flashed with CWM. I have noticed that the battery drains significantly faster with CM9 when the device is asleep. Looking at better battery stats I found that ath6kl_wow seems to be the culprit, which was reinforced with GSam which reported that 89% of the battery was consumed by wifi.
I've been using several custom roms on my Defy green lense and i noticed an issue with the battery life.
It happens that every time i fully charge the phone, when it goes to 70% battery life it instantly drop to 50%, battery drain, even with STOCK Froyo.
But if i charge it to 69%, not fully 100% or over 70%, it goes normal...
Is the battery bricked ?
After updating my LG Thrive to 4.04 from 2.35 I have seen horrible battery life.
Although I had already done a factory reset I decided to try removing the battery to see if that would help.
Hello everybody,I moved to systemd few times ago with a very good result in term of cleaning//system speed and so on, but i noticed that the suspend function from systemd drain a lot of power during sleep.I can't debug right now (no more pm-utils) maybe is just a feeling (also because ai swhitched from a macbook to a samsung ultrabook in almost same period of the systemd swhitch) but i notice
Within the last week I have been experiencing major battery drain from 'sdcard' for no reason. Here is a screenshot of my phone last night which shows 'sdcard' as the largest battery drain '29%' over a total off charger time of nearly 14 hours. The 'sdcard' details claim that the uptime for the 'sdcard' is only a mere 45 minutes.
