My S4 was recently updated to 4.4.2 from 4.2.2. I'm on ATT. It's not rooted. I never used Kies but I noticed the other day it was gone. IF I were to do a factory reset, which is something I am hesitant to do, I'd want to back up everything obviously. I DID download Samsung Smart Switch from the Play store, but Kies seems to be gone from my phone.
So I bought a Bose Bluetooth headset to go with my phone, but cannot figure out how to get the CD I downloaded to my computer to my phone. Tried everything. When I hook up the phone to the computer it gives options for photos and videos but not music. So anyone out there can help me please?
So my Samsung DS3's screen has a blue crack covering half the screen, I can still see the notifications on half the screen (the screen over the last few hours has been going into darker shades of blue).
I used to be able to plug my old Samsung fascinate into my car stereo's USB port and play my music thru my car speakers. I guess like an auxiliary method.
Does anyone know if it is possible with this phone? I tried but can't get it to even recognize my phone when I plug it in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello there. First thing I want to point out is that I've checked all the possible threads I could find and none could seem to have a solution to my problem. Here it comes.
I wish to point out that I HAVE connected the phone to my PC before, but this time I have a problem and don't seem to be able to fix it.
When I plug my phone into the PC, it charges.
Ive had my s2 some 6months now and only managed to update it once, i try to update over the air, it downloads the package ok, restarts to phone, attempts to install, gets to about 50% then tells me to plug the phone into kies to update
I plug the phone into kies to update and it says theres no update, nor does it now even allow me to check for a update now kies updated itself
since I installed DU. In the past I could plug it into my computer and when I got up 5 or 6 hours later it would be fully charged. Now, 8 hours after plugging it in, it's still not quite charged all the way. I know the USB takes longer but I'm comparing USB to USB in this case. Using the same cable I always have. I use greenify and nothing seems to be going on in the background.
