Well I rooted my phone because it sounded cool and I wanted to play around with the phone. I rooted it, everything was fine until I downloaded an app. I downloaded it and reset the phone. Then it happened :(.
Help!!! Samsung Exhibit II 4G won't boot
My phone powers up to the "Exhibit II 4G" but then just stays on that screen. I tried to do the factory reset, following the directions on the thread under the "return phone to factory preset." I have a windows xp. I downloaded the drivers you suggested and Odin.
A friend of mines phone was stuck on the HTC screen every time she tried to reboot her phone. So we powered it down and brought it back up with the volume button down+power and did a factory reset. The phone came up with the normal screen "verizon loading blah blah" and once that finished and it rebooted it never came back up. Now it doesn't respond to any sort of reboot attempts.
I have a sprint Samsung Galaxy s2.
I have had it for over 1 year and working fine mostly (besides gps taking a while to lock sometimes)
Yesterday, while texting ( using handscent sms,,which I use a LOT) the phone froze...and eventually, it rebooted itself !
Since that time, It hands randomly about 5-6 times per day, mostly when using handscent sms.
but it did do this once when I was not using h
OK, So I have bought this phone of my friend and his gmail account is still on the phone and wanna put it in my gmail, but it says I can't delete the account unless I reset the phone... I also have problems with the phone wanting to type on it's own sometimes? it types random letters when Im typing a message and I turn it on and off and it goes away...
So today my phone was working fine. I pull it out of my pocket and the screen is black. Tried to turn it off and back on with the power button but that did nothing. I pulled the battery out and put it back in and then it went to the first screen that says "Samsung Galaxy S3" and permanently froze there. I did root it a few months ago and never had a problem with it.
Ok, I'll just come out and say it. I used EasyRoot to root my phone, and it allowed me to mess it up (I think). Let me say, it wasn't the program's fault, I'm certain. Anyway, here're the series of events that occurred.
Rooted phone.
Deleted Verizon's "bloatware".
**Ooh, Jelly Bean update!**
Unrooted phone via SuperSU.
Update! ...No. "Dead Android"
Update! ...No.
Hi,
Upgraded from ICS today and the upgrade seemed to go well.
After the phone rebooted it comes up with a "Samsung Galaxy" screen asking me to select language.
Hi! I need to sell my Galaxy Exhibit 4G, so I want to do a factory data reset to wipe it clean. I rooted it about 6 months ago, but I have stayed on stock and just frozen and deleted some of the bloatware apps. Can I just do a regular factory data reset? I am concerned because of rumors that it might brick your phone?
