im debating whether to spend money to fix the screen or just get a new phone. I can pick up a brand new phone for 300, the local shop charges 140 for same day service....ive watched vids on how it's done just wondering if its a gamble worth taking?
I have a AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3. A couple of days ago, my eBay app stopped working when connected to 4G. It works fine when connected to Wi-Fi. I have tried re-installing the app, restarting the phone, and checked to see if anything is blocking connectivity for the app. Any ideas to what is going on?
Like many people, I do a little buying and selling on eBay from time to time, so it would stand to reason I would have the eBay Android app installed on my phone and tablet. Using the app was always easy, but… how can I put this nicely… it looked like what an app would look like if it were made in the 90′s.
What was that? Everybody put your hands over your ears now, especially the carriers. At the Open Mobile Summit conference, Google Ventures General Partner and Android co-founder Rich Miner said that carrers should spend more time and money creating unique interfaces for Android phones. He’s actually surprised that carriers like Verizon and AT&T haven’t put more time into it.
Hi,
Im about to send my phone off to get fixed this weekend,
Im told by the people at carphone warhouse that HTC will probably replace it than spend the time fixing the screen.
Anyways I was wondering what app/procedure people recommend for backing up things from my phone so that i can save as much of the apps/settings/layout as possible?
Cheers,
Tom

Phone boot looping.
I did a factory reset on my Rise and now its boot looping. The only thing i did to it was delete/freeze a few stock things 1.5 months ago. I forgot to restore them before the factory restore. For example i froze VM setup i believe and a couple other things.
Hi.
I'm new in the Android phones and these days I'm going to buy Sony U so I wanted to ask you few questions...
Why do you root your phones? What is it that you acctually get when you root phone? Does the phone work faster?
Is it possible to root Sony U to Android 4.1?
What version of Android is faster 2.3 or 4.0.
